- http://coseboc.org/ The website for the Coalition of Schools Educating Boys of Color. This site offers many useful resources. Every year they host a Gathering of Leaders Conference.
- http://schools.nyc.gov/Offices/ESI/default.htm This site gives information about the Expanded Success Initiative. A New York City based program, there are resources that can assist us in developing programs for our students.
- http://www.sanfordinstitute.org/ This site is from the Adelaide L. Sanford Institute. It is Brooklyn-based and offers resources that are applicable to educators across NY State. They hold regular forums and events.
- http://www.meetup.com/Urban-Ed-Professionals-NYC/ A collective of educators of color in NYC for the purpose of providing coaching, mentoring, and support to one another. They also have a Facebook page and host quarterly events.
- http://www.abetterchance.org An organization that recruits and prepares students of color for the rigors of private and post-secondary education.
- http://nycan.org/ An advocacy group that promotes "commonsense education reform through media work, electronic communications and social networking, publications, on-the-ground community organizing, partnerships with like-minded civic and community groups and events."
- http://fathersineducation.com/ "The aim is to create an environment where all fathers, regardless of economic status or marital relationship, will have the opportunity to contribute to their children’s well-being and to experience direct and unencumbered engagement in their children’s educational outcomes."
- https://www.prepforprep.org/ "Prep for Prep develops ethical and effective leaders who reflect our diverse society for the enduring benefit of all." Since 1978, they have "identified New York City's most promising students of color and prepared them for success at independent schools throughout the Northeast. Once placed, we support the academic and personal growth of our students through college."
